Severalyearsago I listened to an interview with Desmond Minor, a massively successful songwriter you might not acquire heard of but whose music you've definitely heard. Desmond is gay and has been openly queer for a long hour. He was describing active with Aerosmith on their hit "Dude (Looks Enjoy a Lady)," and something really caught my attention (WARNING: this interview contains an offensive slur for transgender people):

Desmond: ...Because of my success with Bon Jovi, John Kalodner -- the famous John Kalodner, legendary A&R man -- asked me if I would go up to Boston and meet Aerosmith. They had never written with an outside author, and they were not happy to see me. They were going along with it to please John Kalodner, but they were not that gleeful about it.

Steven (Tyler) was much more kind, as he is, and was very generous, really, and showed me a song that they had started called "Cruisin' for the Ladies." I listened to that lyric, and I said, "You understand what, that's a very boring title." And they looked at me favor, "How dare you?" And then Steven volunteered, sheepishly, and said that when he first wrote the melody he was singing "Dude Looks like a Lady." It was k

Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler was accused of sexual misconduct by a second female on Thursday. This is everything we know about the sexual assault allegations that have been made against the singer.

The two women who have filed lawsuits said the misconduct took place when they were both teenagers, with the alleged crimes virtual dating back to the 1970s.

Newsweek reached out to a representative of Tyler for comment via email on Friday. Tyler previously denied all allegations in Julia Misley's lawsuit. He has yet to comment on Jeanne Bellino's allegations.

Julia Misley allegations

In December 2022 Julia Misley, formerly known as Julia Holcomb, was the first to make an accusation against Tyler, 75, filing papers in a Los Angeles court accusing him of sexual assault, sexual battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

She alleged that they began a sexual relationship when she was only 16. The pair met in 1973 after an Aerosmith concert in Oregon, where Tyler took her help to his hotel room and, according to the suit, allegedly "performed various acts of criminal sexual conduct upon" her. Misley has alleged that during this encounter, they also discussed her age.

Steven Tyler Admits He Tried Gay Sex But ‘Didn’t Dig It’

Among the revelations in Steven Tyler's fresh autobiography, the 63 year old Aerosmith frontman and 'American Idol' judge reveals that he once experimented with gay sex but "just didn't dig it."

In the book, 'Does The Noise In My Leader Bother You,' Tyler writes "Gays love me!" and says that when he walks into a room full of "queens," he tells them "don't even think about hitting on me. I'm a breeder and you know it."

He goes on to disclose that while he tried gay sex one age when he was younger, "the idea of some guy pulling my hair back, biting my ear and shoving his c--k in my ass doesn't appeal to me."

Tyler calls sex "the strongest oblige in the universe" and said that while women are basically "nurturers," men were "created to be Ted Nugent" and search, something that Tyler says has been going on in multiple forms and definitions for "a million years."

Regarding the issues of trust, Tyler said that as a rock luminary, he's at a disadvantage and that the "rock star

A judge has dismissed a lawsuit brought by a woman who accused Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler of sexually assaulting her twice in 1975 when she was 17.

US District Judge Lewis Kaplan said Jeanne Bellino waited too long to sue the 75-year-old rock star, according to the Reuters news agency.

Ms Bellino, a former model, claimed he had groped her in a Manhattan phone booth before pinning her against a wall later that night and simulating sex.

He "vehemently" denied the allegations.

The evaluate decided the case did not qualify for a two-year window for submitting claims that would otherwise fall outside the usual legal time limit, because Tyler's alleged conduct did not meet the criteria for posing a "serious risk of physical injury".

Tyler's lawyer David Long-Daniels told Reuters: "We agree with the judge's reasoning, and are grateful for this result on behalf of our client."

The singer has also denied claims in a separate continuing case filed by another lady in 2022.
