We've been several times to Fort Lauderdale, either as a stopover for a cruise, or to go to one of the many homosexual parties they have here throughout the year like “Wicked Manors” on Halloween. We always love coming here, particularly as it's a time destination. There's always something happening and you're almost always guaranteed gorgeous sunny weather.

It’s official. After years of false starts, Hotspots Happening Out announced today that a fresh future is born for Pride Fort Lauderdale.
In February it was announced that the former Pride management board voted to dissolve and transfer Pride Fort Lauderdale to Hotspots Happening Out.
When Fort Lauderdale Mayor Dean Trantalis found out he said: "I'm pleased to hear that Celebration Ft. Lauderdale has taken on a worthy significant other in joining forces with the Stonewall Pride Hotspots Happening Out Organization. Jeff Sterling and his team offer amazing talent and broad experience in producing successful events. I'm looking forward to working with them for the victory of our entire community."
Pride Fort Lauderdale Celebration and Festival will be held on Saturday, February 14; Valentine's Day.

How Did The City Reach to Be?
Originally settled for two thousand years by the Tequesta Indians, Spain changed all of that in the 16th century. Before the 20th century, the Fort Lauderdale area was known as the "New River Settlement.” In the s, there was only 70 people settled in the city.
